CcHUB, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation To Empower 50 Startups In Edo

With the support of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Nigeria’s foremost tech acceleration and startup Hub, Co-Creation Hub (CcHUB) has announced a partnership with the Edo State Government to launch a landmark startup initiative aimed at strengthening the Edo State digital solutions ecosystem by encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship.

According to a statement from CcHUB, the initiative will provide sub-grant support to 50 startups through two programs.

The first programme will be the Inclusion-Focused Support for 30 diverse startups with underrepresented founders and teams (women) at $ 10,000 funding each. The other programme will focus on The Innovation Challenge, which is for 20 tech startups with innovative ideas and products that meet the needs and challenges in the Edo State market at $ 20,000 funding each to improve and expand their operations.

The one-month application call commenced on January 12, 2024, and will close on February 12, 2024.
